Shaken with Tim Tebow

Who are you when life is steady?
Who are you when storms come?

Most of us have been on the receiving end of rejection, a broken dream, or heartbreak. And while this is not an easy space to go through, when we are grounded in the truth, we can endure the tough times.

In this powerful series, Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow passionately shares glimpses of his journey staying grounded in the face of disappointment, criticism, and intense media scrutiny. Following an exceptional college football career with the Florida Gators and a promising playoff run with the Denver Broncos, Tebow was traded to the New York Jets. He was released after one season.

In Shaken, Tebow talks about what he's learned along the way, building confidence in his identity in God, not the world. This moving series features practical wisdom from Scripture and insights gained from others who have impacted Tebow in life-changing ways.

Though traveling hard roads is not easy, it's always worth it!

Thanks to Show Hope's partnership with the Tim Tebow Foundation, we surprised the Barrett family at Show Hope's 10 Year Celebration. The Barrett family has received two Adoption Aid grants from Show Hope, and they are working right now to bring home precious Sabrina from Maria's Big House of Hope, Show Hope's flagship Special Care Center.

The Barrett family has two children: Sam and Sarah. Soon, they will be bringing home their third child, Sabrina, thanks to the generosity of the Tim Tebow foundation. All three of the Barrett's children suffer from the same liver disorder. Sam and Sarah were able to receive the necessary medical treatment upon their arrival to the United States from China, and they are hoping to do the same for Sabrina when she arrives.

The Barrett family is a beautiful example of God's call for us to care for His children in distress. Despite the financial challenges, their trust in God's plan for them has given them two, and soon three, wonderful children. These children would most likely not be alive if they had remained in China. Show Hope is grateful for the Barrett family and their willingness to answer God's call to care for orphans, as well as all the Show Hope sponsors who make miracles like these happen.

Tim Tebow has been very open about his faith and as a follower of Jesus Christ, has always expressed his gratitude to his Lord and Savior. In an interview with ESPN's Skip Bayless, Tim Tebow responds to his critics and explains why he openly displays his faith in Jesus Christ. In a day and age when it's getting harder and harder to find good role models, Tim Tebow willingly takes on that responsibility and relishes the idea of being a good role model to young people. Tim Tebow strives to "encourage people, to bring faith, hope & love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need." How can you not root for someone like this?

the bigots on the far left despise Tebow for having the gaul to not follow the rules of political correctness by not being afraid to be pronounced about his faith. to hell with them, both figuratively and literally

note: this originally took place last year, but Bill ran a repeat segment with some of his most "compelling" interviews and this was part of it, i must have missed it or just decided not to upload it back then
